Pesto Cranberry Turkey Melt (Printable)

Juicy turkey combined with tangy cranberry and fresh pesto, layered with melted cheese on sourdough.

# What You'll Need:

→ Bread & Spreads

01 - 4 slices sourdough bread
02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
03 - 2 tablespoons basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)
04 - 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)

→ Filling

05 - 150 grams cooked turkey breast, thinly sliced
06 - 4 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese

# How to make it:

01 - Spread unsalted butter evenly on one side of each sourdough slice. Flip and apply basil pesto to two slices and cranberry sauce to the other two on the unbuttered sides.
02 - On the basil pesto–spread slices, layer cheese, then turkey slices, followed by another slice of cheese. Cover with cranberry sauce–spread slices, buttered side facing outward.
03 - Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat until hot.
04 - Place sandwiches onto the hot skillet. Cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until bread turns golden brown and cheese melts.
